It's great for young people here, but also for grandma and granddaughter. Love and friendly service. Super delicious food and a good selection of wines. Everything tailored to Corona but without hysteria. Well done. Hold on.

Was there for the first time for breakfast or brunch and the food was really premium! The best croissant I've ever eaten! Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. The thin waitress with the long, straight, black hair was rather hectic and looked annoyed. That was a shame, so I gave little tip for which she didn't say thank you. And unfortunately the table shook a lot and the food took a long time. Due to the great offer and the quality of the food, I can not bring it to heart just give 3 stars. I will definitely be back and hope for a more stable table and maybe another waitress.

The condition was attentive, quick and friendly. The ambience is also very nice! However, the breakfast and the sparkling wine was overpriced. the pancakes were half-raw :(

Located on the lively and trendy Aachener Straße, the Café Bauturm is famous for its organic breakfast and known for its design interior. Very good atmosphere, friendly and quick service. The coffee was great and opened early on Sunday.

Awesome coffee and breakfast. I really liked the atmosphere, the decoration, and the seating. It's very beautiful inside. Why "only" four stars then? In my rating scheme, I must be willing to travel a detour of 30 mins and more to give five stars. And as much as I liked the place, this would be a tad too much to ask ;-)

A nice shop with a great atmosphere. The breakfast is very tasty, drinks and food came promptly :) Waitresses are attentive and friendly! From now on like more often, that's why only 4 stars;) Was there for the first time and I'm excited to see if my expectations are met! Keep it up !

I cannot recommend the café for breakfast. We got our breakfast after less than an hour (after repeated requests). Unfortunately we were not informed beforehand that the waiting time is currently very long. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not okay, at least for the "avocado breakfast", as this is served with two very small slices of bread, half an avocado and a tablespoon of humus (€ 8.90). Salt and pepper were not brought in and the waitresses were so busy that I could not speak to them. A little ray of hope was the pancakes, which were very tasty and fresh.

Very nice atmosphere. The staff is great and super friendly. They do serve cruelty free options which is awesome. They should try and serve some more there is no reason animals have to suffer for such a great place to keep going :)

The café in the building tower is (for me) an institution. It is a café, bar and restaurant in one. The selection at the bar is extensive and the food (for the big or small hunger) largely organic. In addition there is friendly, young staff and last but not least the original, unique ambience - with creative, stylish furnishings and changing exhibitions of artists.

Cosy atmosphere and great service right in the heart of the Belgian quarter! Just keep in mind that the breakfast menu is not available in English.

It is cozy and the breakfast is great! The staff are friendly, but unfortunately very poorly organized and so you wait a long time to be served or something ordered. And the sanitary facilities should be fundamentally renewed.

Food was ok but the most RUDE service I’ve ever experienced. I asked for a Mimosa. She looked at me disgusted. I thought she didn’t know what it is. So I showed her on the Internet and explained to her. She replied I know what a Mimosa is. Then I asked for the password of the WiFi. She said there is no WiFi outside...but only inside the bar. WiFi inside yes and outside no...I showed her the net on my phone and she said that one is for the people working there. Everything with the most rude and unfriendly tone. Then I asked for the bill and she went to the table beside mine first even if they asked for the bill after me. Then when I asked for the receipt of the bill she simply collected the money and left without a word. I myself would never go there again, but for the sake of the place I encourage the owner to have a word with her. I’m sure it’s not her first time.

Good house wine, nice environment, good location, friendly staff. Burguer was a bit dry, mango aioli is probably not what you are expecting. No garlic there. But looks homemade. Cheesecake was not satisfying...

In the street, you were spoiled for choice. The coffee shops follow each other and are not alike. Unfortunately, the Café Bauturm despite its unusual decor is not exceptional. Try instead another address for a gourmet break.

Here you can have breakfast, the price is ok for a big city. The service is nice, but you have to wait a long time for drinks and food. Nevertheless, I like the ambience and will be back.

Awful! Ordered a special breakfast and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Waited almost an hour for the food. I received a single pancake with bacon that looked like it had seen better days! Complained to the waitress and said I'm not paying for the pancakes (hadn't tried them). She murmured OK, no apology. Paid for the rest and left. Look for something else in the area, there are lots of better places to eat

Cheap and tasty breakfast, very friendly staff who helpfully translated the menu :) but long long wait - 20 minutes for 2 coffees and then just under an hour total for the food to arrive... Also had to keep our coats on so cold! Lots of nice breakfast places nearby - would say try elsewhere if you don't mind paying a little more.

Good offer: delicious breakfast, great lunch menu and really delicious cake! Especially in summer you can sit in the sun in the middle of Aachener Straße. Unfortunately there are longer waiting times and the prices are sometimes a bit excessive - but a point deduction. Quality of food and drinks are absolutely fine.

Decent breakfast and a nice place to drink ze German Milchkaffee... And consider art, theatre and other weighty matters.

Super place! The best warm croissant I’ve had in a long time. Cozy place friendly staff, and open throughout the day. Definitely a plus for we who do not plan.
